VERBA Translation ApS protects your privacy and develops technologies that ensure safe use of our 
website. By using our website, you agree to the processing of data described in this document.

Collection of personal data

In order to serve you or your company as a customer, we usually collect and process the following information about you:

We collect this information from you or from the company you represent

In the contact form available on our Contact page, you are asked to enter your name, surname and e-mail so that we could send you a quotation or the information you requested. We need your telephone or mobile phone number to contact you if additional clarifications are required or in case of internet connection problems.

We process your general contact information in order to identify you as a customer and to be in contact with you.

We may also use your contact information to send you some relevant information about our services. You can refuse such requests at any time by unsubscribing from specific forms of communication or by contacting us directly.

We process your data as part of the performance of the agreement we have concluded with you, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. We only process data about you that is necessary for our cooperation.

VERBA may use automatic data collection tools such as web beacons and cookies to automatically collect statistical data on visits to our website, including IP addresses, page visit times, visitors’ geographic data, browser types, etc. Such data are used exclusively for the purpose of improving our business.

Your personal data is stored in our electronic databases, e-mail and cloud-based systems, and on our fixed and mobile devices, which are accessible only to our employees. In addition, in some cases, your personal data may be physically stored in our accounting and project management programme. Your personal data may also be shared with and handled by our legal advisers, external accountants, banks or auditors. In general, it is necessary to share the personal data included in the files that you send us for translation or other processing with external suppliers or translators. All e-mails that contain your personal data will be deleted approximately 3 months after being received by our servers. Project and accounting files are deleted after 5 years. Personal data in our databases will either remain stored until you request its deletion or it will be deleted no later than 5 years after your last order.

Your rights and access to justice


As part of our processing of your personal data, you have a number of rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Among other things, you have the right to know which personal data we have recorded about you, and you can have it corrected at any time.
You can find out more about your rights on the homepage of the Danish Data Protection Agency or your local data protection supervisory authority. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
